Logviewer
LogViewer enables monitoring and analyzing the entire journey of a player - from accessing the game up to the moment of logging out. This data can be overwhelming, so you can use various filters to narrow down the results and extract the insights you need.
To access the LogViewer in the SARD platform, please follow these steps:
- Click on the game environment you want to monitor.
- Press the "LogViewer" on the menu on the left
Data filtering
In this section insights on player activity are accessible. This information is categorized to be easily filtered by
- Timestamp: Select a date range for your results. You can choose options between 1 day and the last 365 days or enter a custom date range
- Hardware ID: Enter a specific Hardware ID to include only results from the specific user
- Info: Filter by the executed actions of the player or security system, such as Connect, Disconnect, Kick Player, and Ban Player.
- Username: Input the username to access insights about the player's activities
- Detection Codes: Filter the attempts of modifying game files, third party tools or else to gain unfair advantage in the game using the detection codes
- IP Address: Input the IP Address to access insights about the actions from a certain IP Address
- Driver: Filter by the state of the SARD driver on players' PC
- Version: Apply this filter to compare the impact of different versions of the SARD components
- Architecture: 32/64: Select either 32 or 64 to differentiate the data processed from users that use either 32-bit operating systems or 64-bit operating
Applyting Sanctions
Right in the LogViewer, it is possible to create sanctions. Once you have completed a search using predefined criteria, you will see 10 results ordered chronologically from the earliest to the latest events. Apart from reviewing the results, it is possible to create sanctions against unfair players. 5 types of commands can be implemented. For this purpose, it is required to select a row or a group of rows and click the buttons provided above the table of search results.
Here are the five types of commands that can be implemented
- Kick Players: Remove disruptive players temporarily.
- Ban Players: Permanently block rule-breakers.
- Add hwID to Blacklist: Prevent re-entry using hardware ID.
- Add IP Address to Blacklist: Block access from specific network.
- Automated Sanctions (Action by Code): Auto-punish cheaters and exploiters by means of detection codes
